The James New York collaborated with acclaimed curator and Co-Founder of Grey Area, Kyle DeWoody, to commission a mural for the hotel’s 6th Avenue façade. Brooklyn-based artist Paul Wackers created the original artwork, letting the shape of the wall guide his work. Wackers spent a day with Colossal’s painters at the wall, watching them recreate a cheerful mural that tells a story about the passage of time.
