As purveyors of the most important meal of the day, our friends at Thomas’ Breads know how to prioritize. If you want to create something exciting and memorable, make it with love. It’s true when making breakfast, and it’s true when making murals.
For that personal touch, Thomas’ Breads worked with Colossal Studios to source artists Dingding Hu and A Nature Unknown to design custom artwork for Portland. If this sounds familiar, that’s because Thomas’ came to us for artist sourcing in Portland in 2022 as well, and it was among their highest ROI tactics of the year. Loving the results, they returned for a second consecutive year of artist sourcing. We hope two more incredible canvases have them coming back for thirds.
MEET THE ARTISTS
Dingding Hu is an illustrator, writer, and comedian and she has created vibrant and humorous art for global brands such as HBO, Google, Bloomberg, The New York Times, Sephora, and more. She has won awards from both the Society of Illustrators and American Illustration. (She also recently joined Colossal Studios for an interview, check it out here).
Kourtney Jossy started A Nature Unknown as an Illustration series with her husband Richard in 2016, taking inspiration from nature, the unexplained, and introversion. Over the years Kourtney has become the lead illustrator as her own personal style has flourished. Richard and their cat Fjord enjoy assisting with design and development as they explore new ideas/projects together.
