To enhance the shopper experience at its Bowery store, Patagonia reached out to Colossal to paint a birds-of-paradise-themed masterpiece. With the canvas hovering over a steep and narrow staircase, the Colossal team built custom rigging to complete the paint job. In support of Colossal’s contribution, Patagonia placed a Colossal Media plaque on the final display and even turned the vibrant floral artwork into a shirt – a Patagonia legacy reprint!
Patagonia re-engaged Colossal in 2021, this time to bring unique pops of color to their Williamsburg storefront. To add dimension to the mural, Colossal painted 3-D letters that floated off the mural but carried through the blends and shapes of the glacial design.
