Madame Clicquot was a trailblazing businesswoman who basically birthed the champagne industry, at a time when the words “business” and “woman” were rarely used in the same sentence. To toast the hardworking and talented women of today, Colossal sourced five female artists to create artwork for Veuve Clicquot’s project, 5 Women. 5 Boroughs. 5 Stories, and painted ‘em on our biggest walls in Williamsburg.

Each of the five female artists designed creative that encapsulates the essence of one New York City borough. Colossal managed each artist from start to finish—overseeing communication, deadlines, and deliverables—and provided art direction from sketchbook to wall. To cap off the campaign, the Colossal Creative Studio conceptualized, produced, and edited videos that explained each artist’s creative vision.
Each artist designed creative that encapsulates the essence of one New York City borough. Our team managed each artist from start to finish—overseeing communication, deadlines, and deliverables—and provided art direction from sketchbook to wall. To cap off the campaign, we conceptualized, produced, and edited videos that explained each artist’s creative vision.

Once the finishing touches were made and our brushes were rinsed, Veuve Clicquot shared the campaign as an Instagram Story on three major accounts: @veuveclicquot, @veuveclicquot_ww, @lvmh, reaching over 1.2 million followers.
All of the artists also shared organic, behind-the-scenes content that reached thousands of more viewers, each hitting their own unique and creative following.
