Now that our new site's up we'll use this blog to share cool stuff that we're into. We'll continue to post our new work into the projects section as well as our flickr feed.
I read about a photography show called Harlem in Time-Lapse photography in fridays NYT. Camilo Jose Vergara has been photographing the transformation of Harlem over the last 30 years, including time-lapses of the same storefronts with different tenants over time. The show is definitely worth checking out at the New York Historical Society for those shots as well as some of the old ads and murals. He also has a really nice website that databases his photos by date and location, showing the same buildings over the past 30 years.

This is one of my favorites, check out the Black Flag "Special City Formula" ad!

This mural is amazing: Big El was a murdered Harlem drug dealer that's flying down from heaven on his motorcycle while holding a beer and talking on his cell phone.

This was on one of the worst drug corners in Harlem, aparenty the mural didn't do much good.
